Leather character and care

Natural leather varies between pieces, including texture across the hide, small marks, wrinkles, uneven colour and vein marks. Photography conditions and screens may make the colour appear different from the actual item.

Friction or moisture may transfer colour to light-coloured clothes and fabrics. Check that leather sprays, oils and creams suit the material, and test on an inconspicuous area before use. Care does not completely prevent colour transfer.

After use, store in a ventilated place away from direct sunlight, heat and high humidity. If the smell after purchase bothers you, air the bag in a shaded, ventilated place. The time it takes for the smell to fade varies between items.
